Pet portraits are done in pastel on archival paper. House portraits are in watercolor on Arches paper. If you are interested in having a portrait done of your pet or a home please email a couple of clear, color, photos of your dog, cat, home, I will do a preliminary painting and email it to you for your okay.The finished painting is fixed to a foam core board and covered with a sheet of glassine paper which does not cause the pastel to adhere to it. It is mailed to you. The postage would be figured at the start.

If you want it matted and framed, see price list below. The frame,itself, is individually priced. You can order it just matted and sent to you to take to your framer to select your desired frame.

The unframed, unmatted pet painting is about 8″ x 10″. It is a pastel painting on archival paper. It won’t deteriorate or lose color over time. I recommend double matting to keep the image away from the glass surface when framed. I can have it matted for you. it could be about $25 extra but prices change so check with me.
